Our Institution was founded since 2008, opening the doors to all the students who desire to learn, regardless of age, race, creed, or past educational experience. As a comprehensive community school, I.T. of Central Florida Vocational School provides an accessible, diverse learning environment for students to attain academic success and professional growth, to build and expand their knowledge and skills, and to develop both as individuals and as citizens of our community.
I.T. of Central Florida Vocational School’s purpose is to provide student education in the Health Care field. I.T. in our name stands for Intensive Training, as such, our programs are designed to educate entry level students to perform as safe and competent heath care providers, adaptable to a variety of settings. In addition, our institute offers exams to obtain the national licenses in our facilities, because we are a test Center of the National Healthcareer Association.
Our administrative staff as well as teachers are certified and highly trained to provide a professional and competitive service, with university degrees who have the skills and knowledge required to teach the classes, all of them are selected as professionals who are visionary leaders and educators committed to our students.
Postsecondary Education, is the level that follows the successful completion of secondary education, often referred to as high school, this includes universities and colleges, as well as trade and vocational schools. Postsecondary education usually culminates with a diploma, certification, or academic degree and has the challenge of ensuring the quality of the permanent training of specialists capable of facing the economic, social, and educational transformations of society and of helping to maintain indicators of effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance at this level.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital, and certified or non-certified, licensed, or non-licensed healthcare providers.
What does this course teach?
This course teaches High-quality CPR for helping victims of all ages (adults, children, and infants) including doing ventilation with a barrier device and a bag-mask device; the importance of using early automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.

Who should take this course?
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
What does this course teach?
This course teaches critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. The students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and strokes.
In addition, we prepared our students with the skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.
Course Content:
Assistance with Self-Administered Medication in Florida.
When Florida residents can no longer manage their own medications in an Assisted Living Facility (ALFs) and/or Home Health setting, they rely on Med Techs to assist them. The Med Tech certification course provides students with 6 hours of training regarding safe assistance to safely administer medications in an Assisted Living Facility (ALF). IT of Central Florida Vocational School Med-Tech is taught by a Registered Nurse.
After successful completion of the certification course, you will be prepared to:
Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms in human blood that can cause disease in humans. These pathogens include, but are not limited to, hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Needlesticks and other sharps-related injuries may expose workers to bloodborne pathogens. Workers in many occupations, including first responders, housekeeping personnel in some industries, nurses.
Course Objective
In this Program we prepare the students for the Clinical Skills Test, in addition to preparing them in questions and answers to Pass de written Exam.
The Clinical Skills test is intended to measure your ability to perform typical CNA required skills. The test is a timed test where you will be evaluated on performing three assigned skills and Handwashing and Indirect Care. The time allowed for the Clinical Skills Test ranges from 31 Minutes to 40 Minutes based on the skills you are asked to perform.
The CNA Written test is intended to measure a candidate’s mastery of nursing assistant knowledge and skills. The test consists of 60 multiple choice questions. Students are given 90 minutes to take the exam.
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) typically works in a hospital or long-term care facility, such as a nursing home and Facilities Hospital to provide basic care to patients.
